Every indicator, and what it's set to.

Open the popup and the chart is listed — short name, full title, and the parameters on one line. Change any of them in the same fields TradingView's own dialog shows, hit Apply, and the chart updates.

  • Typed properly. Numbers respect their limits, dropdowns show real options — because Loadout reads the study's own input schema.
  • Save from where you are. The Save on a study card names itself EMA 21 · 5m, not EMA 1. The period and timeframe are what tell two setups apart months later.
  • It never adds anything. You put the indicator on the chart; Loadout only configures what's already there. That is deliberate — see the FAQ.

Know which preset you're actually running.

A teal active tag means the chart is running exactly those values. A violet 1 differ tag means the preset is loaded but somebody moved a dial. Open it and you get the diff — saved value against chart value, input by input.

  • It survives version changes. TradingView ships some indicators in two builds with different internal input names. When the ids don't line up, Loadout matches your saved inputs by their labels instead — and tells you what it did.
  • Export is a plain JSON file you can read, keep, and import on another machine. If you ever stop using Loadout, you still have your presets.
  • Drift detection is part of the paid plan. The free plan still sees, edits and applies everything.

Questions

Does it work with custom Pine scripts?
Yes. Loadout reads whatever inputs an indicator exposes, so a published or personal Pine script saves and loads like a built-in one. The only difference is that you add the script to the chart yourself — Loadout never adds indicators for you, it only configures what's already there.
Why won't it add the indicator for me?
Because TradingView ships most indicators twice — a Pine build and a basic one, with different internal input names — and asking it to add "Moving Average Exponential" gives you whichever it feels like. An earlier version did add them, and quietly failed to apply saved values to the build it got back. You add it; Loadout configures it. That way the settings always land.
Does it save colours and line styles?
No — it saves the inputs TradingView itself shows you, which is what people mean by "the settings I forgot". TradingView's own templates already handle visual styling.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your presets stay. You can still see them, export them, and delete them. If you're holding more than the free plan's one preset, loading onto a chart pauses until you either pay again or delete back down to one — at which point it unlocks itself immediately.
Is this a subscription?
No. It's a flat 30-day period bought one at a time. Nothing auto-renews and no card is stored, so there is nothing to cancel.
